River Trip: Meandering the Manitowish River

Join a Discovery Center Naturalist and Water Program Coordinator on the Manitowish River. We will look for migrating birds, other wildlife, and discuss the different ways rivers change throughout the season. The trip will be about 8 miles and we will cross over some level 1 rapids, so prior canoe experience is strongly encouraged. Bring a lunch, and plan for around 4-5 hours on the water. Canoes, paddles, and PFDs provided. Limited spots available. Pre-registration is required by 5/2. Saturday, 9am-3pm $35 ($30 members)
