Discover on Demand: Northwoods Woodpeckers

Discover on Demand is an environmental education series provided by the North Lakeland Discovery Center program staff. On the first of every month through May we will post a pre-recorded lecture on a different environmental topic relevant to the Northwoods. The programs are around an hour long and are great for teens and adults. 

Register any time, and you will receive an email from Licia on March 1 before 10 am with the link to view the program.  You will have access to, and be able to view the program as many times as you would like until March 8.   

Northwoods Woodpeckers:  Join Naturalist Licia as she shares some of the amazing adaptations that allow woodpeckers to not only hit some of the hardest surfaces with their face and live to tell about it, but also how they manage to get insects throughout the year and how to identify species that might visit your homes year round.  

There are multiple price levels, please choose whichever level is right for you.  This program is in support of the North Lakeland Discovery Bird Club, and all proceedes generated will benefit the Bird Club and their ourtreach and stewardship programs.
