Van Vliet Old Growth Snowshoe-FULL

Designated a State Natural Area in 2013, the Van Vliet Hemlocks are a beautiful example of an old growth forest in the Northwoods. Join a naturalist and learn about this unique habitat and some interesting winter animal adaptations during this fun snowshoe.

Transportation from the Discovery Center provided (meet at 12:15 PM); or meet at the East Van Vliet Trailhead in Presque Isle at 1 PM. Space is limited. Registration is required by January 30. Saturday, 1 - 3 PM. Free - Sponsored by the Friends of Van Vliet Hemlocks.
