Bird Banding Demonstration

Adults and kids will enjoy seeing live birds up close and learning about bird ecology and research through bird banding.  Adopt a bird for a memorable experience releasing a banded bird.  There are special activities just for kids including "band-a-kid" and a migration challenge game.  Just drop by Bobcat Cabin during the public banding demonstration hours.  Banding station will not operate in rainy weather or temperatures less than 20oF.  Groups of 8+ please call to schedule a banding demonstration for your group. Wednesday, 1-3:30pm.  Suggested Donation $5 per person.
