Van Vliet Old Growth Snowshoe *FULL*

Designated a State Natural Area in 2013, the Van Vliet Hemlocks are a beautiful example of an old growth forest in the Northwoods. Join a naturalist and learn about this unique habitat and some interesting winter animal adaptations during this fun snowshoe. Transportation from the Discovery Center provided (meet at 12:15pm); or meet at the East Van Vliet Trailhead in Presque Isle at 1pm.  Space is limited; advance registration required by 2/7.  Saturday, 1-3pm. Free - Sponsored by the Friends of Van Vliet Hemlocks.
