Description

The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in northern Wisconsin is a great laboratory for understanding the wildlife ecology. Northland College Professor Erik Olson describes an on-going, collaborative project studying the wildlife of the wilderness archipelago. Erik will share some of the insights gained from the research: from discovering a new population of a state endangered mammal, the American marten, to island biogeography theory. An evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge. Cash bar and complimentary appetizers from 5 - 6 PM, program from 6 - 7 PM.

Registration is required by January 7. Program held at Camp Jorn YMCA. Thursday, 5 - 7 PM. $17 ($14 members). $20 at the door.
