Description

Sylvania Wilderness is a mini version of the BWCA or Quetico right in our backyard. Old-growth forest, exquisite scenery, crystal clear lakes, abundant wildlife, and a wilderness experience make this a prime destination for paddlers. A rich history of private ownership, land stewardship, celebrity, and return to public domain makes this one of the most unique places in the area.

Recently retired to the U.P., Al and Marsha Fairfield are living the dream exploring the beautiful landscape that surrounds them. Marsha is a Wisconsin Master Naturalist, kayak instructor, and environmental educator. Al has a background in Biology/Ecology, has been active as an environmental educator at Maywood Environmental Park, the Door County Land Trust, and other nature centers. Both enjoy exploring the outdoors, capturing the experience through photography, and sharing it with others.

An evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge. Cash bar and complimentary appetizers from 5 - 6 PM, program from 6 - 7 PM.
