Garden Workshop – Extend Your Growing Season and Explore Microgreens

Would you like fresh, local microgreens, spinach, lettuce or herbs in February? What seems impossible becomes reality with the use of indoor passive solar growing spaces, cold frames, DIY hydroponic systems, and high tunnels. This workshop will provide resources, stories and examples of season-extending options with Wisconsin School Garden Network Regional Coordinator Adriane Morabito. Participants will also learn how to grow nutrient-rich microgreens with Ann Ertl from Three Sons Pork & Greens Farm from Hazelhurst, Wisconsin. Saturday, May 11, 10 AM-12 PM.
