Turtle Flambeau Flowage Historic and Naturalist Pontoon Tour - FULL - Waitlist Available!

Join NLDC Director John Heusinkveld and Manitowish Waters Historical Society (MWHS) member Jim Bokern on a pontoon tour of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. This trip will depart from Springstead Landing and explore the histories, rich natural beauty and resources of the 13,000 acre Scenic Waters Area. Some historic images bound for personal viewing will be shared to better illustrate the history and cultural traditions of the area. Bring lunch and water.  Our hope is to all travel together in our van, but if that is not deemed safe, we will conduct the trip caravan-style, with participants following DC staff to locations in their own vehicles.  Registration required by 7/18.  $50 ($45 members of the NLDC or MWHS).
