Join retired Ottawa National Forest Conservation Education Coordinator Joe Panci and Naturalist Licia as they explore a real historical gem in the northwoods.  Star Lake Nature Trail follows an undeveloped peninsula around beautiful 1,206 acre Star Lake.  This unique landscape includes the state's first pine plantation, a 10,000 year old bog and more!  This hike will be a little over two miles on moderate terrain, so rated moderately strenuous.    Registered participants will be emailed directions to the trailhead.  Registration required by 8/13.  $35 ($30 members).
